Thomas Meunier (7/10)

Meunier put in another impressive performance going forward, and this time minus the defensive lapses. The Belgian international did really well to send Mahmoud Dahoud’s cross field pass onto the path of Jude Bellingham with a lovely first-touch. He remained a constant threat down the right flank for the majority of the game and also forced a good save from the goalkeeper late on.

Manuel Akanji (6.5/10)

Akanji put in a solid defensive shift once again and made several vital clearances for his side. He had a bit of trouble against Larin early in the game, but managed to deal with his threat fairly well in the end. His build-up play was once again top class.

Mats Hummels (6/10)

Hummels made his return to the starting XI but had a difficult time against Michy Batshuayi, especially early on. He got better as Borussia Dortmund started to gain more of a foothold on the game. And he ended up making a few important recoveries for his side in the second half.

Hummels did have to go off in the 68th minute, with Marin Pongracic coming on to replace him.

Raphael Guerreiro (6/10)

Guerreiro helped set up Borussia Dortmund’s second goal with a well taken throw in. He did have some problems against Rachid Ghezzal, but managed to limit his impact in the end.
