Mahmoud Dahoud (7/10)

Dahoud played a really good cross field pass to find Thomas Meunier in the build-up to Jude Bellingham’s opener. He put in a battling shift in midfield and made a game high five successful tackles. He also made some intelligent forward runs, even if his final product wasn’t always the best.

Jude Bellingham (9/10)

Bellingham absolutely ran the show for Borussia Dortmund. He opened the scoring with a well taken strike and then did really well to set up Erling Haaland for BVB’s second goal. He should have made it 3-0 in the second half, but wasn’t able to beat the goalkeeper after more sublime play. Despite that miss, it was a world class performance from Bellingham, who continues to get better and better with each passing game.

Julian Brandt (5.5/10)

Brandt wasn’t as involved in the game as he would have liked. He had a couple of encouraging moments without really catching the eye. He was replaced by Axel Witsel before the start of the second half.
