Thomas Meunier (7/10)

The Thomas Meunier redemption arc continued on Sunday as he set up Erling Haaland’s first goal and also put in a solid defensive performance for the majority of the game. He made some very encouraging forward runs and played an impressive three key passes.

Manuel Akanji (7/10)

Akanji put in another strong defensive display and helped keep the dangerous Max Kruse and Taiwo Awoniyi quiet. He made several important interceptions for his side, and his build-up play was once again impeccable.

Mats Hummels (7/10)

Hummels played a vital role on both ends of the pitch for Borussia Dortmund. He not only set up Haaland’s second goal, but also won the ball back in the build-up to his first. He also did a solid job defensively and helped his side see out the win.

Raphael Guerreiro (7.5/10)

Guerreiro was on target once again, and this goal was even more special than the one he scored last weekend. He continued to threaten on the left wing after that and linked up really well with Donyell Malen, especially in the first half.
