Jude Bellingham has hardly put a foot wrong so far this season, establishing himself as a vital cog in the Borussia Dortmund midfield. He always plays with great energy and never stops running for the team. And his decision making in the final third is getting better and better with each passing game.
Bellingham is well on his way towards becoming one of the most complete midfielders in the world of football. He faces a tough challenge this weekend against Gladbach midfield enforcer Denis Zakaria. The 24 year old is a key player for the Foals and will likely start in defensive midfield on Saturday.
Zakaria is not only a solid number six, but he is also capable of making an impact on the other end of the pitch with his late runs into the box. The Swiss international scored in Gladbach’s win over Arminia Bielefeld earlier this month after making an excellent darting run into the box. And Bellingham will need to be at his best in order to stop him from making those runs.
The midfield battle between Bellingham and Zakaria this weekend certainly promises to be an intriguing one.
