Axel Witsel vs. Lars Stindl

Borussia Mönchengladbach have made a poor start to the season and currently find themselves in 16th place in the Bundesliga standings. But one player who has managed to impress is club captain Lars Stindl. The 33 year old has three goals and one assist to his name in six appearances from his number ten role this season. And Borussia Dortmund will have to be wary of his quality in front of goal this weekend.

Axel Witsel will likely have a key role to play in stopping Stindl. The Belgian international delivered a solid performance last weekend against Union Berlin, aside from his unfortunate penalty giveaway.

Stindl is a very intelligent player and has a knack of making some clever runs into the box. And Witsel will have to ensure that he follows Stindl’s movement and manages to limit his impact.
