Borussia Dortmund take on Portuguese giants Sporting CP on Tuesday in their first home game of the 2021/22 UEFA Champions League group stage.

The Champions League is back this week and Borussia Dortmund will be in action on Tuesday as they go up against Portuguese Primeira Liga champions Sporting CP at the Signal Iduna Park.

The two teams had contrasting starts to their Champions League campaigns two weeks ago. While Borussia Dortmund came away from Turkey with a 2-1 win over Besiktas, Sporting CP were handed a crushing 5-1 defeat by Ajax.

Borussia Dortmund will have to make do without Erling Haaland, who misses the game with a muscle injury. But Marco Reus has overcome his knee injury and is back in the starting XI in what is a big boost for the Black and Yellows.

Here is a look at how Borussia Dortmund’s CONFIRMED line up for their Champions League clash against Sporting CP.

Goalkeeper: Gregor Kobel

Gregor Kobel continues to surpass expectations with his exemplary performances week in, week out. The Swiss shot stopper has hardly put a foot wrong so far, and he is due a clean sheet. Hopefully, he will get one on Tuesday.
