Axel Witsel (7/10)

Witsel used his experience and composure really well to anchor the midfield for Borussia Dortmund. He was able to dictate play at will and had a lot of space to work with, as Sporting did not really press high up the pitch.

Mahmoud Dahoud (N/R)

Dahoud had to be subbed off less than five minutes into the game after suffering an injury. Hopefully, his injury isn’t too bad and we will see him back in action right after the international break.

Jude Bellingham (7/10)

Bellingham’s control and pass to set up Donyell Malen’s goal was nothing short of world class. He looked a bit overzealous at times with his tackling and decision making, but overall it was another strong performance from the England international
