CONFIRMED Borussia Dortmund lineup for Bundesliga clash against Augsburg

Midfielders: Axel Witsel, Jude Bellingham, Julian Brandt

With Mahmoud Dahoud and Gio Reyna both absent and Emre Can not yet ready to play from the start, Julian Brandt comes into the team to partner Axel Witsel and Jude Bellingham in midfield.

Witsel put in a solid display in defensive midfield against Sporting CP. But his lack of creativity can sometimes hurt the Black and Yellows against teams like Augsburg. So it will be interesting to see how he fares this weekend.

Jude Bellingham has hardly put a foot wrong so far this season. And he will have a crucial role to play in Borussia Dortmund’s attempts to find a breakthrough past the Augsburg defence on Saturday.

Julian Brandt comes into the starting XI to replace Mahmoud Dahoud, just as he did on Tuesday. The playmaker needs to find some consistency if he wants to cement his place in the starting lineup. And hopefully, we will see a strong performance from him this weekend.
