Thomas Meunier (6/10)

Meunier had a decent first half but wasn’t able to cause Augsburg any problems from the right wing. He then had to go off early in the second half after injuring his left knee.

Manuel Akanji (6/10)

Akanji looked strong and confident both in terms of his defending and his build-up play. He did not do much wrong over the course of the 90 minutes, except for the fact that he got caught ball watching before Augsburg’s goal and lost sight of Zeqiri.

Mats Hummels (5/10)

Hummels had a difficult time on the pitch and did not look to be fully fit. He allowed Maier with too much space to make his run and hit the bar before Zeqiri turned home the rebound. Dortmund’s defensive leader continued to struggle until he was replaced by Marin Pongracic in the 66th minute. Hopefully, the international break will give him the chance to fully recover from his knee injury and get back to full fitness.

Raphael Guerreiro (6.5/10)

Guerreiro coolly converted the penalty to give Borussia Dortmund the lead in the first half. He wasn’t always a threat going forward, but looked solid at the back for the majority of the 90 minutes. He also filled in at right-back for the final 20 minutes of the game after Marius Wolf’s injury.
