Borussia Dortmund will be in action on Thursday afternoon as they play a friendly against second division side SC Paderborn.
The Borussia Dortmund players who are not involved on international duty or sidelined with injuries will go up against SC Paderborn in a friendly match in front of 500 fans on Thursday.
The friendly match will give Marco Rose a chance to fine tune his tactics a bit and and give his players some more playing time. And the likes of Emre Can and Julian Brandt, who have recently returned after recovering from their injuries will be able to use the game to get some minutes under their belt.
Borussia Dortmund will be without a number of players for this game. Ten players are away on international duty and several others are currently out with injuries. So the likes of Erling Haaland, Gio Reyna, Jude Bellingham and Marco Reus will not be taking part in the friendly. But fans will still get to see a number of first-team stars in action. In addition, a few players from the U-23s team will also be involved.
SC Paderborn have made a strong start to their campaign, so they will offer a tough test to the Black and Yellows. They are currently third in the 2. Bundesliga standings.
