Mahmoud Dahoud’s injury means that Borussia Dortmund are slightly short of options in midfield. Marco Rose has made one change to the midfield trio, with Emre Can coming into the starting XI in the defensive midfield role in place of Axel Witsel.
Jude Bellingham has been one of Borussia Dortmund’s standout performers so far this season. He continues to get better and better. And after getting a bit of rest during the international break, he will be looking forward to stepping back onto the pitch and making the difference in midfield.
Julian Brandt scored the winner against FC Augsburg and will keep his place in the starting XI. The key for him now will be to build on that goal and find some consistency. And it will be interesting to see if he can manage to do that.
