Emre Can (6/10)

Can made his return to the starting XI and put in a combative shift in midfield. The crowd loved his robust challenges and no nonsense defending in the first half. The German international started to tire as the game went on, and some poor decision making followed before he was replaced by Axel Witsel.

Jude Bellingham (7.5/10)

Bellingham put in another battling shift in midfield and kept things ticking for Borussia Dortmund. The 18 year old won a lot of duels and never shied aways from a challenge. He also showed great commitment and determination by setting up Erling Haaland for Borussia Dortmund’s third goal in the 93rd minute.

Julian Brandt (7.5/10)

Brandt spent a large part of the game playing on the right, but he also drifted into central areas on a number of occasions. He linked up really well with his teammates and also delivered some excellent crosses from set-pieces. It was a strong performance from the playmaker and he certainly deserves to keep his place in the starting XI.
