Marco Reus (7.5/10)

Reus opened the scoring for Borussia Dortmund with a stunning finish into the top corner in just the third minute. He looked very sharp in the first half and had a number of nearly moments. He wasn’t as involved after the break and was replaced by Reinier late on in the game.

Donyell Malen (5/10)

Malen showed flashes of his quality, but found it hard to get involved in the game. He worked hard for the team and even dropped back on a few occasions. But not much came off for him.

Erling Haaland (8/10)

Haaland really stepped up and made the difference for Borussia Dortmund in the second half. Not only did he win and convert the penalty, but he also sealed the result by making it 3-1 in stoppage time with a well taken finish. The Norwegian international also had a shot saved in the first half stoppage time and set up a chance for Jude Bellingham from the rebound which was cleared off the line.

Haaland showed once again just how good he is, and his return comes at a vital time for Borussia Dortmund.
