CONFIRMED Borussia Dortmund lineup for Champions League clash against Ajax

Defenders: Thomas Meunier, Manuel Akanji, Mats Hummels, Nico Schulz

With Raphael Guerreiro still absent due to a torn muscle fibre, Marco Rose has decided to stick with the same back four that played against Mainz on Saturday. Thomas Meunier is in fine form at the moment. And he will have a key role to play on Tuesday if Borussia Dortmund are to get the three points against Ajax.

Nico Schulz was solid against Mainz and will have to be at his very best defensively against a strong Ajax team. He will start again at left-back.

Manuel Akanji and Mats Hummels will start together in central defence once again for Borussia Dortmund. Hummels was given a bit of a breather in the second half against Mainz, but he is fully fit and ready to go. Dortmund’s centre-back duo face a tough duel against Ajax striker Sebastien Haller on Tuesday.
