CONFIRMED Borussia Dortmund lineup for Champions League clash against Ajax
By Tushar Bahl
Forwards: Marco Reus, Donyell Malen, Erling Haaland
Marco Rose has gone with the same front three that started against Mainz on Saturday. Marco Rose heaped praise on Marco Reus during his pre-match press conference, calling him the glue that binds the team together. Fresh off his sublime goal against Mainz, the Borussia Dortmund captain will be aiming to lead his side to victory against Ajax on Tuesday.
Erling Haaland has scored in each of his last eight games for club and country. His record in the UEFA Champions League is simply stunning. And he will be aiming to keep his scoring run going on Tuesday.
Donyell Malen will also be looking to deliver a strong performance on his return to the Netherlands. The former PSV Eindhoven will need no motivation going into the game against one of their biggest rivals. Ajax is also the club where Malen began his career before moving to Arsenal.
Thorgan Hazard, Ansgar Knauff, Marius Wolf, Steffen Tigges and Reinier all start on the bench for Borussia Dortmund.
