Expected Borussia Dortmund lineup for Arminia Bielefeld clash

Midfielders: Axel Witsel, Jude Bellingham, Julian Brandt

Axel Witsel would have been the likeliest candidate to drop to the bench had it not been for Borussia Dortmund’s latest injury crisis. But Emre Can will likely be needed at left-back. And with no other fit midfielders in the squad, Witsel will probably start in the holding midfield role against Arminia Bielefeld.

Jude Bellingham has started in all 13 of Borussia Dortmund’s games so far and has been one of the team’s top performers. He is another player who could probably do with some rest. But with a lack of options in midfield, he will be in the starting XI on Saturday.

Julian Brandt will also keep his place in midfield. The playmaker had a tough time against Ajax but has impressed in each of the last two games in the Bundesliga.
