Forwards: Thorgan Hazard, Marco Reus, Donyell Malen

Erling Haaland’s injury leaves a big hole in the Borussia Dortmund attack. And it will be interesting to see what formation Marco Rose decides to go with in the striker’s absence.

Donyell Malen will likely start up front in Haaland’s absence. The Netherlands international has endured a slow start to his Borussia Dortmund career. But hopefully, he can use the next few games to find a bit of form and show his quality.

Marco Reus will have an even more important role to play with Haaland now out injured. The Borussia Dortmund captain will be aiming to lead from the front and help his side get the three points on Saturday.

Thorgan Hazard could replace Haaland in the starting XI. The Belgian international has struggled with injuries so far this season and hasn’t been able to make an impact. The hope will be that he can now stay injury free and show the consistency that fans are used to seeing from him.
