Borussia Dortmund got the job done against Arminia Bielefeld on Saturday, earning a 3-1 win to keep pace with Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga standings.

Borussia Dortmund cruised to a comfortable 3-1 win over Arminia Bielefeld thanks to stunning goals from Jude Bellingham and Mats Hummels, and a spot-kick from Emre Can. Despite having to make do without Erling Haaland, the Black and Yellows delivered a solid performance and managed to score three times en route to an important victory.

Emre Can gave Borussia Dortmund the lead from the penalty spot before Mats Hummels made it 2-0 with a brilliantly taken volley from the edge of the box. Jude Bellingham then sealed the three points in the second half by dribbling past three defenders before finding the back of the net.

Arminia Bielefeld certainly didn’t offer Borussia Dortmund the biggest of tests. But Marco Rose will still be pleased that his team was able to get the job done without breaking much sweat. Here are our player ratings for the Borussia Dortmund players from the game.

Gregor Kobel (7/10)

Kobel was tested a couple of times and did his job really well on both occasions. His double stop to deny Bielefeld in the 18th minute was truly incredible. Although he did suffer an injury while trying to make a save during that move. He managed to carry on until the break, but was replaced by Marwin Hitz at half time.
