Marius Wolf (7/10)

Wolf got in behind the Arminia Bielefeld defence on a couple of occasions in the first half and caused them a lot of problems. He forced a good save from the goalkeeper with one of those runs and worked tirelessly for the team.

Emre Can (7/10)

Emre Can stepped up to score the penalty for Borussia Dortmund. It was a well taken penalty from the German international. He also had things under control defensively at all times and made some vital tackles for his side.

Jude Bellingham (8/10)

Bellingham had a quiet 70-odd minutes and wasn’t as involved in the attacking play as he would have liked. But he sealed the win for Borussia Dortmund 17 minutes from time with a breathtaking piece of skill. The 18 year old dribbled his way past three defenders before chipping the ball past the Arminia Bielefeld goalkeeper to score his side’s third goal.

Julian Brandt (6/10)

Brandt delivered another encouraging performance and showed a good account of himself. He linked up well with his teammates for the most part and was always looking to make things happen. He was given a breather in the 75th minute as Reinier came on to replace him.

Thorgan Hazard (6/10)

Hazard had a quiet game at left wing-back and did not get too involved in the attacking play. But he got his job done without much fuss and kept things quiet on his flank.
