Forwards: Reinier, Thorgan Hazard, Steffen Tigges

This game could be the perfect opportunity for Marco Rose to give the likes of Reinier, Ansgar Knauff and Steffen Tigges some playing time. But it remains to be seen just how much rotation we will see on Tuesday.

Marco Rose said during his pre-match press conference that Donyell Malen is struggling with gastrointestinal problems and won’t train on Monday. If that is the case, Borussia Dortmund may have to make do without the Netherlands international for the Pokal tie.

Steffen Tigges came on for Malen in the second half for game against Arminia Bielefeld. And he could make his return to the starting XI if the Dutchman isn’t able to play against Ingolstadt.

Thorgan Hazard should keep his place in the starting XI as he looks to find his form. The Belgian international has struggled to make an impact since his return from injury. And a good performance on Tuesday will go a long way in helping him restore his confidence.
