Emre Can (6/10)

With Borussia Dortmund dominating possession, Emre Can was always looking to make forward runs to help out in attack. One such run nearly led to a goal for the German international, but the Ingolstadt goalkeeper made a good save to deny him. Can was also the reason Borussia Dortmund had a goal disallowed in the first half, as he clumsily fouled an Ingolstadt player from a corner before Hummels could put the ball into the net.

Mats Hummels (6/10)

Hummels had little to do defensively and was always looking to find the forward pass to start off Borussia Dortmund attacks. He was heavily involved in the build-up play and had 123 touches of the ball in just 83 minutes. He was unlucky to have had a goal disallowed in the first half as Emre Can fouled an Ingolstadt player.

Marin Pongracic (6/10)

Pongracic did a decent job and kept things tight at the back. He made one error in possession in the second half, but other than that it was a solid performance from the Croatian international.
