Midfielders and Wing-Backs: Thomas Meunier, Axel Witsel, Jude Bellingham, Julian Brandt, Marius Wolf

Emre Can’s injury means that we will see the same midfield three that took to the pitch on Tuesday. Axel Witsel starts in the holding midfield role. It will be interesting to see how he fares against a Köln side that will sit deep and allow Borussia Dortmund to have the majority of possession.

Jude Bellingham has started in all of Borussia Dortmund’s games so far this season. Due to the lack of alternatives in the squad, he will start once again on Saturday. The England international scored a stunning solo goal last weekend and delivered a strong performance in the win over Ingolstadt earlier this week.

Julian Brandt helped set up both of Borussia Dortmund’s goals on Tuesday. Like Bellingham, Brandt goes into the game in good form. He is showing his quality on a more consistent basis this season, which is a big boost for the Black and Yellows.

Thomas Meunier made his return from injury on Tuesday and starts once again at right wing-back. The Belgian international will be looking to keep his impressive run of form going.

Marius Wolf filled in at left wing-back on Tuesday. And he will be needed in a similar role again this weekend, with both Raphael Guerreiro and Nico Schulz still out injured. Wolf spent last season on loan with Köln, and he will want to deliver a strong performance against his former club.
