Goals from Thorgan Hazard and Steffen Tigges helped Borussia Dortmund beat FC Köln 2-0, but the star of the show was once again Gregor Kobel.

Borussia Dortmund continued their winning run in the Bundesliga on Saturday as they claimed a hard fought 2-0 win over a determined FC Köln side. It wasn’t the most exciting of performances from the Black and Yellows, but they managed to get the three points and also kept their first clean sheet of the season.

Thorgan Hazard got on the end of Jude Bellingham’s chipped cross to open the scoring for Borussia Dortmund. Steffen Tigges came off the bench and sealed the win in the second half with a headed goal from Julian Brandt’s corner.

Here are our player ratings for the Borussia Dortmund players from their 2-0 win over FC Köln.

Gregor Kobel (8/10)

Gregor Kobel was Borussia Dortmund’s best player, and not for the first time this season. The Swiss shot stopper dealt with everything Köln threw at him and ensured that Dortmund kept their first league clean sheet of the season. His best save of the game came in the 20th minute, when he parried away Ondrej Duda’s long range effort after running back towards his goal.
