Marco Reus (5/10)

Reus did not have the best of games as he failed to convert a couple of good chances that fell to him in the first half. He also had some heavy touches in and around the box and found it hard to make an impact on the game.

Thorgan Hazard (7/10)

Hazard scored his third goal of the week to open the scoring for Borussia Dortmund. The goal came after the Belgian international made a fine run and got himself free before heading Bellingham’s cross into the back of the net. Hazard also set up a half-chance for Meunier early in the game. But other than that, he was kept quiet by the Köln defence.

Steffen Tigges (7/10)

Tigges came off the bench and doubled Borussia Dortmund’s lead with a well taken header. It was his first ever senior goal for the club, and it will no doubt give him a lot of confidence. He also linked up well with his teammates, even though his decision making wasn’t always the best.

Donyell Malen (5/10)

Malen’s struggles continued as he had a difficult afternoon after coming on from the bench. He was second best in most of the duels and looked too slow both in and out of possession.

Felix Passlack (6/10)

Passlack came on to replace Marius Wolf and made some encouraging forward runs that caused a few problems to Köln.
