Thomas Meunier (5/10)

Meunier had a tough time against Dusan Tadic and also lost sight of the Ajax captain in the build up to the equaliser. The Belgian international wasn’t able to make too many forays into the Ajax half as Dortmund had to settle for a more conservative approach after Mats Hummels’ sending off.

Manuel Akanji (5/10)

Akanji kept Sebastien Haller quiet for the majority of the game, but was beaten far too easily in the duel before Ajax’s go-ahead goal.

Mats Hummels (6/10)

Hummels had an early chance to give Borussia Dortmund the lead. But he fired his header just over the bar. He was then rather unjustly sent off at the half hour mark by referee Michael Oliver.

Marius Wolf (7/10)

Wolf kept Antony quiet for the majority of the first half and also made a few dangerous forward runs down the left flank. He was then forced off with a muscle injury in the second half, and Antony set up three goals to turn the game around for Ajax after that.
