Axel Witsel (6/10)

Witsel delivered a much better performance than he did the last time these two sides met. But his lack of pace was still evident and Ajax were able to dominate the midfield battle in the second half. Despite that, he still made some important recoveries and tackles for the Black and Yellows.

Jude Bellingham (8/10)

Bellingham was once again Borussia Dortmund’s best player. He missed a great chance to open the scoring but caused Ajax all sorts of problems with his non-stop running and hard work. He also won his side a penalty in the first half, which was converted by Marco Reus. Even though Ajax were dominating the game in the second half, he kept on fighting for the team.

Julian Brandt (7/10)

Brandt looked very lively in the first half and set up a couple of good chances for his teammates. He also helped out defensively on Dortmund’s right side in the second half.
