Borussia Dortmund switch their focus back to the Bundesliga this weekend and a tough away game against RB Leipzig awaits them. The Black and Yellows have won each of their last four matches in the Bundesliga. But Leipzig are slowly finding their form and will be aiming to continue their rise up the standings with a win on Saturday. Here are three talking points ahead of the game.
How will Borussia Dortmund respond after their latest setback?
Borussia Dortmund suffered another setback in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday as they were beaten 3-1 by Ajax. The defeat was a blow to their hopes of qualifying for the round of 16. But Marco Rose’s side will now have to quickly pick themselves back up again as they look to continue their charge for the Bundesliga title.
Bayern Munich appear to be in fine form at the moment, having scored 14 goals in their last three games in the Bundesliga. So it is imperative that Borussia Dortmund get the three points against RB Leipzig to keep pace with their title rivals.
A win against Leipzig would be the perfect response to the Ajax defeat. And it would also be a great statement of intent going into the international break.
