Borussia Dortmund were outplayed by RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga on Saturday evening, suffering a well deserved 2-1 defeat.

Christopher Nkunku was the star of the show as RB Leipzig earned a dominant 2-1 win over Borussia Dortmund on Saturday. Missing a number of key players through injuries, the Black and Yellows were far from their best and never really looked to be in control of the game.

RB Leipzig took the lead in the first half through Christopher Nkunku, before Marco Reus equalised for Borussia Dortmund. Nkunku then set up the winner for Yussuf Poulsen to give Jesse Marsch the most important win of his Leipzig career so far.

Here are our player ratings for the Borussia Dortmund players from their 2-1 defeat to RB Leipzig.

Gregor Kobel (8/10)

Kobel again proved to be Borussia Dortmund’s best player as he single-handedly kept his side in the game with some superb saves. He made an excellent save from close range to deny Nkunku in the 13th minute, and then made a stunning double save in the second half. And he also made a number of other less spectacular, but equally important saves over the course of the 90 minutes.
