Raphael Guerreiro – Portugal

Raphael Guerreiro is working his way back from a muscle injury and is not part of the Portugal squad for their final two qualifiers. The Euro 2016 winners are currently second in Group A, one point behind Serbia. Although they do have a game in hand.

If Portugal win their final two group games against the Republic of Ireland and Serbia, they will directly qualify for the World Cup. But defeat to Serbia on the final matchday would see them go into the play-offs.

Gio Reyna – United States

There are still eight matchdays to go in the third round of the CONCACAF qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup. A total of eight teams are taking part in this round, and the top three teams in the table at the end of 14 matchdays will automatically qualify for the World Cup. The fourth placed team will advance to the inter-confederation play-offs. The United States are currently second in the table, three points behind leaders Mexico.

Donyell Malen – Netherlands

Donyell Malen and the Netherlands are top in Group G, two points clear of second placed Norway. Since their goal difference is far more superior than that of Norway, even two points from their final two group games (against Montenegro and Norway) would be enough to seal direct qualification to the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Marin Pongracic – Croatia

Croatia are second in their World Cup qualifying group, two points behind Russia. The 2018 World Cup finalists have crucial qualifiers coming up against Malta and Russia. And two wins from two would be enough to help them qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup. They are already assured of at least a spot in the play-offs.
