CONFIRMED Borussia Dortmund lineup for Sporting CP clash

Defenders: Thomas Meunier, Manuel Akanji, Marin Pongracic, Raphael Guerreiro
Marco Rose has gone with Marin Pongracic to replace the suspended Mats Hummels. He starts alongside Manuel Akanji in central defence. Pongracic has looked shaky in his last few appearances for Dortmund, but a good performance on Wednesday could help him restore his confidence.
Akanji will lead the defence in Hummels’ absence. The Swiss international has been one of Borussia Dortmund’s best players so far this season.
Zagadou played 60 minutes for Borussia Dortmund II on Saturday and is not ready to start a game of this magnitude just yet, having only made his return recently following a lengthy injury break.
Thomas Meunier and Raphael Guerreiro will start as the two full-backs. They will be looking to add width to Borussia Dortmund’s attack, while being mindful of Sporting’s dangerous wingers.
