Emre Can (7/10)

Speaking of making amends, Emre Can also delivered a solid midfield performance on his return to the starting XI just days after being sent off against Sporting CP. He was robust, aggressive and cleaned the game up well for his side whenever Wolfsburg looked to threaten. He also kept his composure and scored the penalty to make it 1-1 in the first half.

Mahmoud Dahoud (7/10)

Dahoud showed how much Borussia Dortmund missed his presence in midfield on his return to the starting XI. The German international ran the show and started a lot of dangerous attacking moves with his sharp passes. He led the team with a game high five key passes and also put in a good shift defensively.

Julian Brandt (7/10)

Brandt continued his good run of form with a strong performance on both ends of the pitch. He made a number of vital defensive contributions and also set up the goal for Erling Haaland in the 81st minute.
