Marco Reus (8/10)

Reus also continued his excellent run of form against Wolfsburg. He won his side the penalty, and then assisted Donyell Malen’s go ahead goal. The Borussia Dortmund captain also made a vital interception inside the box in the second half to prevent Wolfsburg from scoring. He should have made it 4-1 late on, but the goalkeeper denied him with a good save.

Marius Wolf (6/10)

Wolf put in a solid shift for the team on his return from injury. He helped Meunier out defensively on a number of occasions, but didn’t cause too many problems to the Wolfsburg defence.

Donyell Malen (8/10)

Malen made it three games in a row with a goal, and this one was his best goal yet. He dribbled past two tackles before letting fly from the edge of the box, leaving the goalkeeper with no chance. He was also a willing runner, worked hard for the team and linked up well with his teammates.

Ansgar Knauff (6/10)

Knauff replaced Marius Wolf and did the job asked of him. He had a few encouraging moments going forward and also helped out defensively.

Erling Haaland (7/10)

Haaland marked his return from injury with a goal. It was a well taken finish from the striker, and it sealed the win for Borussia Dortmund.
