Gio Reyna back in team training but Jude Bellingham still sidelined

Borussia Dortmund received another big boost on Tuesday as Gio Reyna made his return to training after nearly three months out with a muscle injury.
Gio Reyna is back in training after recovering from a muscle injury that has kept him out of action since September. The 19 year old took part in parts of team training on Tuesday and will now look to make further progress in the coming days.
Gio Reyna, who suffered his injury while on international duty with the United States in September, hasn’t featured for Borussia Dortmund since late August. It was earlier thought that he would be back in action by October at the latest. But there were some complications during his rehab which forced him to stay on the sidelines for a longer period.
Reyna’s absence has been heavily felt in the Borussia Dortmund midfield. While it is highly unlikely that the attacking midfielder will be able to feature in the top of the table clash against Bayern Munich this weekend, Marco Rose will be hopeful of having him back in the squad before long.
Raphael Guerreiro also took part in team training on Tuesday and should be able to face Bayern Munich this weekend.
But Jude Bellingham remains a doubt. He did not feature in Tuesday’s training session, and instead received treatment for his knee injury once again.
Thorgan Hazard is also a doubt. He is still in quarantine after testing positive for COVID-19 last week. According to Ruhr Nachrichten, Manuel Akanji and Youssoufa Moukoko also missed Tuesday’s training session. But the reasons for their absence are unknown at the moment.
