Thomas Meunier (6/10)

Meunier dealt with the threat posed by Alphonso Davies and Leroy Sané relatively well. He still made a few sloppy mistakes, but none that proved to be too costly. He also delivered a couple of really good crosses into the box.

Manuel Akanji (6/10)

Akanji had another solid game and did a good job of keeping Lewandowski quiet for the majority of the 90 minutes. He made a number of vital interceptions for his side and did not do much wrong defensively.

Mats Hummels (3/10)

Hummels had an evening to forget as he was directly or indirectly responsible for all three of Bayern’s goals. He made a poor mistake before Bayern’s equaliser, and then was caught in the wrong place at the wrong time before the second goal as Guerreiro’s clearance struck him and went into the path of Coman. He then gave away a penalty, which led to Bayern’s winner.

The veteran centre-back did not really look comfortable against his former club. And he will want to forget that performance very quickly.

Raphael Guerreiro (4.5/10)

Like Hummels, Guerreiro also had a tough time against Bayern. He was lacking in match rhythm and wasn’t able to make the offensive impact that he so often does. He also made a poor clearance in the first half that struck Hummels and led to Bayern’s second goal.
