Julian Brandt (7/10)

Brandt was having a really good game before he had to be taken off on a stretcher due to a nasty collision with Upamecano. He showed great composure to score the opening goal, and then continued to cause problems to the Bayern defence for the entire time he was on the pitch.

Marco Reus (7/10)

Reus quietly had another good game and was unlucky not to end up with at least one assist. He created some really good chances for his teammates, including one that sent Haaland through on goal in the first half. He led the team really well and also helped out defensively.

Erling Haaland (7/10)

Haaland’s goal was nothing short of incredible. But he will feel that he should have done a better job of getting in behind Bayern’s high-line without being offside. The Norwegian international’s lack of match rhythm did affect him at times. But he still managed to make things difficult for the Bayern defenders.

Donyell Malen (5/10)

Malen came on to replace Dahoud at the hour mark. But he wasn’t able to make any impact on the game.
