Midfielders: Axel Witsel, Jude Bellingham

With Emre Can suspended, Julian Brandt ruled out, and Mahmoud Dahoud not yet fully fit, Borussia Dortmund are very light in terms of midfield options going into Tuesday’s game.

Axel Witsel is set to make his return to the starting XI after being benched for the last two games. The Belgian international is another player who will be looking to make his mark against Besiktas.

It will be interesting to see who starts alongside Witsel, and whether Rose decides to go for a change in formation. Jude Bellingham only made his return from injury on Saturday and could probably do with some rest as well. But the lack of options in the squad could force Rose to start him again on Tuesday.

Tobias Raschl is another player who could be in contention for some minutes against Besiktas.
