Borussia Dortmund take on Besiktas JK in their final game of the 2021/22 UEFA Champions League group stage on Tuesday evening.

The curtain is set to come down on Borussia Dortmund’s 2021/22 UEFA Champions League campaign on Tuesday. The Black and Yellows have already been eliminated from the competition and will be playing in the UEFA Europa League following the winter break. But they will still be determined to end their Champions League campaign on a high with a win against Besiktas.

There isn’t much riding on Tuesday’s game, so Marco Rose is likely to rest some of his key players, including Erling Haaland, Manuel Akanji and Raphael Guerreiro. The likes of Donyell Malen and Axel Witsel are set to return to the starting XI, while Dan-Axel Zagadou, Reinier and Steffen Tigges could also be in contention to play from the start.

Besiktas have lost all five of their Champions League group stage games so far. And Borussia Dortmund will want to ensure that the Turkish side’s poor run in the competition continues on Tuesday.
