Erling Haaland and Marco Reus both scored two goals each as Borussia Dortmund cruised to a 5-0 win over Besiktas JK on matchday six of the UEFA Champions League group stage.

With their hopes of qualifying for the UEFA Champions League round of 16 already over, Borussia Dortmund took to the pitch against Besiktas on Tuesday with not much to play for except pride. And they delivered a thoroughly dominant performance en route to a 5-0 win, courtesy of goals from Donyell Malen, Marco Reus (x2) and Erling Haaland (x2).

Marco Rose will certainly be pleased with the response his team showed after Saturday’s defeat to Bayern Munich. And he will also be delighted by the fact that he was able to give a number of key players some rest ahead of this weekend’s Bundesliga derby against VfL Bochum.

Here are our player ratings for the Borussia Dortmund players from their 5-0 win over Besiktas.

Gregor Kobel (6/10)

Kobel was a spectator for the majority of the game and hardly had any saves to make. Clean sheets have come at a premium for Borussia Dortmund so far this season. And he will no doubt be delighted that they were able to get one against Besiktas.
