Marius Wolf (6/10)

Wolf had a decent game and put in all the hard work without causing too many problems to the Besiktas defence. He still delivered two key passes and showed his versatility once again by starting down the wing before moving to right back in the second half.

Marco Reus (8/10)

Reus continued his excellent run of form by scoring a brace against Besiktas. He made it 2-0 from the penalty spot before showing his class for Dortmund’s third goal. He dribbled his way past three defenders before passing the ball into the back of the net to take his tally to 21 Champions League goals for Borussia Dortmund.

Donyell Malen (7.5/10)

Malen opened the scoring for Borussia Dortmund to make it four goals in his last four starts. While he got a bit lucky that the goalkeeper fluffed his lines, the Netherlands international certainly deserved this good fortune. He caused Besiktas all sorts of problems in the first half, and continued to remain dangerous even after switching to a wider role to accommodate Erling Haaland.

Reinier (6/10)

Reinier replaced Thomas Meunier at half time and created a great chance for himself soon after. But he fired his shot harmlessly over the bar. He linked up well with his teammates and also created a couple of dangerous openings.

Erling Haaland (8/10)

Haaland came off the bench and did what he does best. He headed home two goals in less than half an hour to help seal an impressive 5-0 win for Borussia Dortmund. He had a couple of good chances late on and will no doubt be disappointed that he wasn’t able to complete his hat-trick.

Felix Passlack (6/10)

Passlack put in a decent performance at right back after replacing Marius Wolf. Although he was barely tested by the Besiktas forwards. He also made a couple of dangerous forward runs for his side.
