Mino Raiola has stoked more fire to the Erling Haaland rumours by claiming that there is a big chance of the striker leaving Borussia Dortmund in the summer.

Erling Haaland has been heavily linked with a move away from Borussia Dortmund in recent months. The likes of Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea and Paris St. Germain are all said to be in the race to sign the highly rated striker. The BVB bosses have said on numerous occasions that they will try to convince Haaland to stay on for at least another season. Now Mino Raiola has had his say on the 21 year old’s future.

Raiola has admitted that there is a big chance that his client could leave Borussia Dortmund in the summer. In an interview with Sport1, Raiola said:

"“Bayern, Real, Barcelona, City – these are the big clubs he can go to. When we moved to Dortmund, we all knew that this step would come. Maybe this summer, maybe the summer after. But there is a big chance that Erling will leave this summer. We will see.”"

Despite making it clear that he thinks Haaland’s future lies away from Borussia Dortmund, Raiola was also quick to point out that he will hold talks with the BVB bosses in the coming weeks.

"“We will tell BVB what our idea is and BVB will tell us their ideas. But no decision will be made in the winter. We always have very open communication with Watzke, Zorc and now Kehl. We deal with each other with great honesty.”"

Raiola also praised the Borussia Dortmund bosses for their decision to keep Haaland last summer even though it would have made more economic sense for them to sell him.

"“When you see the passion of the people in Dortmund, it’s great. Every player loves this yellow wall, including Erling. He came because he wanted to play in front of this stand.”“A transfer last summer would definitely have been better for them (BVB) economically. But they looked after the good of the club, the fans, the team and the success. I have a lot of respect for this decision.”"

Haaland, who joined Borussia Dortmund from RB Salzburg in January 2020, has scored 74 goals in just 72 appearances across all competitions for the club. He still has close to three years left on his contract with the Black and Yellows. But his contract reportedly contains a release clause which will become active next summer.
