Borussia Dortmund player ratings from 1-1 draw vs VfL Bochum
By Tushar Bahl
Thomas Meunier (5/10)
Meunier had a few problems against the pacy and skilful Christopher Antwi-Adjei. His decision making in the final third of the pitch wasn’t the best, and he also had a few sloppy moments on the ball. The Belgian international did have a shot cleared off the line in the second half.
Mats Hummels (6/10)
Hummels dealt with everything Bochum threw at him and led the Borussia Dortmund defence well. He was also heavily involved in building the play up from the back.
Dan-Axel Zagadou (5/10)
Zagadou kept his place in the starting XI and had a couple of nervy moments in defence. He also missed a big chance in the second half as he failed to find the target with a free header from a corner.
Nico Schulz (6/10)
Schulz had a hard fought battle against Holtmann but managed to come out on top more often than not. He also made some dangerous forward runs and had a shot cleared off the line early in the second half. His decision making wasn’t always the best, but he still managed to cause a few problems to the Bochum defence.
