Midfielders: Mahmoud Dahoud, Jude Bellingham, Julian Brandt

Julian Brandt came off the bench and scored the equaliser against Bochum on Saturday. And he should be back in the starting XI for Wednesday’s game. His return will give Marco Rose the option to go with an attack-minded midfield trio.

Greuther Fürth have scored just 13 goals and conceded 46 times in the Bundesliga this season. With Borussia Dortmund set to have the majority of possession, having Dahoud, Bellingham and Brandt in midfield will give them the opportunity to move the ball forward quickly and play at a higher tempo.

Dahoud has shown on a number of occasions that he is more than capable of playing in the number six role. While Bellingham and Brandt could occupy the dual number eight role and set up chances for their teammates.
