Borussia Dortmund are reportedly willing to part ways with Axel Witsel and Reinier Jesus in the upcoming January transfer window.

Transfer rumours are back in full swing with the winter transfer window fast approaching. SportBILD claim in their latest issue that Axel Witsel and Reinier Jesus are free to leave Borussia Dortmund next month.

Witsel’s contract is set to expire at the end of the season, and an extension with Borussia Dortmund appears to be unlikely at the moment. According to SportBILD, the Black and Yellows could consider selling the 32 year old in January so they can get a transfer fee for him.

Juventus have been heavily linked with a move for Witsel in recent months, while Dortmund are reportedly eyeing Borussia Mönchengladbach midfielder Denis Zakaria as his replacement.

Borussia Dortmund are also open to cutting short Reinier’s loan spell in January. The Real Madrid youngster’s loan deal in Dortmund is due to expire at the end of the season. But he has been limited to just ten appearances so far this season, and BVB are reportedly open to cutting short the loan deal in January if he can find a new club.

SportBILD also add that Borussia Dortmund remain interested in signing Chelsea attacking midfielder Hakim Ziyech in the January transfer window.

In addition, Roman Bürki is also free to leave Borussia Dortmund for a cut-price fee. The Swiss goalkeeper has fallen out of favour in Dortmund. And the BVB bosses are keen to shed his salary from the wage bill.
