Emre Can (3/10)

It was a typical performance from Emre Can, who made several sloppy passes and was caught being over-aggressive on a number of occasions. He was also too slow in the build up play and did not offer Dortmund the stability they needed from him in midfield. He was also one of the players who failed to close down Richter before Hertha’s second goal.

Mahmoud Dahoud (5/10)

Dahoud tried to make things happen but it did not always work out for him. He pressed high up the pitch in the first half and helped his side win the ball back on a number of occasions. But he ran out of steam after the break and also missed a really good chance to make it 2-2.

Julian Brandt (4/10)

Brandt’s game was a tale of two halves. He opened the scoring in the first half with a gorgeous chipped finish. But he gifted the ball away twice near the Dortmund box after the break. And Hertha made Dortmund pay on both occasions.
