Expected Borussia Dortmund lineup for Eintracht Frankfurt clash
By Tushar Bahl
Forwards: Marco Reus, Donyell Malen, Erling Haaland
Marco Rose has plenty of options to choose from when it comes to the Borussia Dortmund attack. Erling Haaland will lead the line once again, looking to continue his incredible goalscoring form. The Norwegian international scored two goals and set up the other three in the reverse fixture, as the Black and Yellows romped to a 5-2 win.
Marco Reus quietly enjoyed an impressive first half of the season, with eight goals and ten assists to his name in just 25 appearances. He will want to lead from the front and help his team start the year off on a high.
Donyell Malen will likely keep his place in the starting XI after ending 2021 on the back of five goals in his last seven appearances. Depending on the formation Marco Rose goes with, the Netherlands international could start out wide or in the second striker role.
Thorgan Hazard, Steffen Tigges and Reinier are the other attacking options available to Marco Rose. While Youssoufa Moukoko could return to the bench after recovering from his injury.
