Borussia Dortmund mounted an incredible late comeback to claim a stunning 3-2 win over Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga.

Borussia Dortmund began their 2022 with a thrilling come from behind 3-2 win over Eintracht Frankfurt. Mahmoud Dahoud scored the winning goal in the 89th minute, just two minutes after Jude Bellingham’s equaliser. Thorgan Hazard had earlier halved the deficit for the Black and Yellows in the 70th minute after Rafael Santos Borré’s first half brace.

It wasn’t the best of performances from Marco Rose’s side. They looked deflated for a large portion of the game. But they really stepped it up towards the end to claim a vital win and cut the gap to Bayern Munich to six points.

Gregor Kobel (5/10)

Kobel will certainly be disappointed with how easily he was beaten before the first goal. But he did make a couple of vital saves for his side, including one to prevent Jesper Lindstrøm from making it 3-0 early in the second half.
