Borussia Dortmund player ratings from incredible comeback win over Eintracht Frankfurt
By Tushar Bahl
Marco Reus (5/10)
Reus inadvertently put the ball into the path of Borré before Eintracht Frankfurt’s second goal. He struggled in the first half when playing out wide. But he looked a lot more dangerous after Thorgan Hazard’s arrival as it allowed him to operate from his favoured number ten role.
Donyell Malen (5.5/10)
Malen struggled to get involved in the game in the first half and also lost the ball cheaply on a number of occasions. The Netherlands international had a golden chance to make it 2-1 in the 45th minute, but he hit the post from close range. He delivered a much improved performance in the second half and set up a decent chance for Haaland before forcing a save from Trapp.
Erling Haaland (5/10)
Haaland was kept quiet by Hinteregger for large parts of the game. He was limited to half chances for the majority of the 90 minutes. But he still managed to find a way of making his mark and set up Thorgan Hazard for Dortmund’s opening goal.
Thorgan Hazard (6/10)
Hazard came off the bench and helped spark the comeback for his side. Not only did he score to make it 2-1, but he also caused problems to the Eintracht Frankfurt defence with his directness.
