Expected Borussia Dortmund lineup for SC Freiburg clash

Another tough game awaits Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga on Friday, as they take on fourth placed SC Freiburg.

Borussia Dortmund breathed new life into the Bundesliga title race and their season as a whole with a stunning come from behind win over Eintracht Frankfurt last weekend. Now they must back that performance up by getting the three points against the high-flying SC Freiburg.

Christian Streich’s side are fourth in the Bundesliga standings and have won each of the last two meetings between these two sides. So Borussia Dortmund cannot afford to take them lightly.

Marco Rose revealed mixed news in terms of personnel during his pre-match press conference on Thursday. Manuel Akanji and Marius Wolf are set to return to the squad, but Dan-Axel Zagadou and Gio Reyna remain out for now. Raphael Guerreiro has not been able to train much this week and is also likely to miss the game.
