Borussia Dortmund delivered a five star performance on Friday night as they registered an impressive 5-1 win over SC Freiburg.

Borussia Dortmund showed that they are not ready to give up in the fight for the Bundesliga title just yet as they claimed a 5-1 win over fourth placed SC Freiburg on Friday. It was a top performance from Marco Rose’s side, who played some eye-catching attacking football and dominated the majority of the game.

Thomas Meunier scored two headed goals from two Julian Brandt corners in the first half, before Erling Haaland got in on the act. The Norwegian international then doubled his tally after Freiburg pulled a goal back in the second half, before Mahmoud Dahoud sealed the emphatic win with a lovely strike late on.

Here are our player ratings for the Borussia Dortmund players from their 5-1 win over SC Freiburg.

Gregor Kobel (6/10)

Kobel did not have a lot to do as Borussia Dortmund dominated play for the majority of the game. He saved the initial shot in the build-up to Freiburg’s goal but did not stand any chance with the rebound.
