Midfielders: Mahmoud Dahoud, Jude Bellingham, Julian Brandt

Borussia Dortmund’s midfield trio are in excellent form heading into the St. Pauli game. Mahmoud Dahoud has scored in each of the last two games. He delivered a dominant performance in midfield on Friday and his high pressing led to two of Dortmund’s five goals. He will be crucial against a St. Pauli side that will no doubt battle hard in midfield.

Bellingham reached double figures for assists this season on Friday. He has been one of Borussia Dortmund’s most consistent performers this season. And he will be looking to keep his run going on Tuesday.

Julian Brandt is enjoying the best season of his Borussia Dortmund career so far. The German international set up two goals on Friday, and should start in the number eight role again on Tuesday.

Axel Witsel could come into the starting XI if Marco Rose decides to give one of his three regular midfielders a rest.
